English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from 'Ikrima — that the Prophet ﷺ passed by a man driving a sacrificial camel [badana]. He said: 'Ride it.' He said: 'But it is a sacrificial camel!' He said: 'Ride it.' Abu Hurayra said: 'I then saw him riding alongside the Prophet ﷺ — with a sandal hanging around its neck [as a marker of its dedication as a sacrificial animal].'
