It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Muhammad ibn Abi 'Adiyy, from Ibn 'Awn, from Muhammad — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The people of Yemen have come to you. They have the most tender hearts. Faith is Yemeni, wisdom is Yemeni, and deep religious understanding [fiqh] is Yemeni.'
