ِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَجْزِي وَلَدٌ وَالِدَهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يَجِدَهُ مَمْلُوكًا فَيَشْتَرِيَهُ فَيُعْتِقَهُ

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Ishaq ibn Yusuf, from Sufyan, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'A son cannot fully repay his father — except if he finds him enslaved, buys him, and then frees him.'
