Hadith #126

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Yazid, from al-Mas'udi, from 'Asim ibn Kulayb, from his father — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I came out to you, and Laylat al-Qadr and the Masih al-Dalalah (the Antichrist) had been shown to me. But two men were quarreling at the door of the mosque, so I went to separate them and was made to forget. I will tell you what I recall of them: as for Laylat al-Qadr, seek it in the last ten nights on an odd night. As for the Masih al-Dalalah, he is one-eyed, with a broad forehead and a wide chest, with some hunchback, resembling Qatan ibn 'Abd al-'Uzza." A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, will his resemblance to me harm me?" He said: "No, you are a Muslim man and he is a disbeliever."
