حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ هَذَا الْمَالِ شَيْئًا مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَسْأَلَهُ فَلْيَقْبَلْهُ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ رِزْقٌ سَاقَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيْهِ

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Yazid, from Hammam ibn Yahya, from Qatada, from 'Abd al-Malik — that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever is given wealth by Allah without asking for it, let him accept it, for it is provision that Allah (عز وجل) has directed to him."
