English Translation

Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, Yazid ibn Kaysan narrated to us, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: A man proposed to a woman — meaning from the Ansar — and the Prophet ﷺ said to him: 'Have you looked at her?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'Go and look at her, for indeed there is something in the eyes of the Ansar' — meaning smallness.
