حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ الصَّادِقَ الْمَصْدُوقَ أَبَ
ا الْقَاسِمِ صَاحِبَ الْحُجْرَةِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا تُنْزَعُ الرَّحْمَةُ إِلَّا مِنْ شَقِيٍّ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ كَتَبَ بِهِ إِلَيَّ وَقَرَأْتُهُ عَلَيْهِ يَعْنِي مَنْصُورًا

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Mansur, from Abu 'Uthman, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ — the truthful, the believed, Abu al-Qasim, the companion of the chamber ﷺ — say: 'Shirk (polytheism) in this ummah is more hidden than the creeping of an ant on a smooth rock on a dark night.'
