Chain of Narration (Isnad)

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ بَيْنَا الْحَبَشَةُ يَلْعَبُونَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ

اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِحِرَابِهِمْ دَخَلَ عُمَرُ فَأَهْوَى إِلَى الْحَصْبَاءِ يَحْصِبُهُمْ بِهَا فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَعْهُمْ يَا عُمَرُ

English Translation

Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Ibn al-Musayyib, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: While the Abyssinians were playing in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with their spears, 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه) entered and bent down to pick up pebbles to throw at them. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Leave them alone, O 'Umar.'
