English Translation

Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from Abu Ishaq, from Kumayl ibn Ziyad, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: I was walking with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a date palm garden of some of the people of Madinah when he said: 'O Abu Hurayrah, the bankrupt ones are destroyed.' I said: 'Indeed, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Do you know who the bankrupt one is?' I said: 'The one who has no money or possessions.' He said: 'Rather the bankrupt of my ummah is the one who comes on the Day of Resurrection with prayer, fasting, and zakah, but he insulted this one, slandered that one, consumed the wealth of that one, and shed the blood of this one. So this one is given from his good deeds, and that one is given, until when his good deeds run out, their sins are thrown upon him, and he is thrown into the Fire.'
