English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ja'far — meaning Ibn Sulayman — narrated to us, from Abu Tariq, from al-Hasan, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Who will take from me these words and act upon them, or teach those who will act upon them?' Abu Hurayrah said: 'I said: I will, O Messenger of Allah.' He took my hand and counted five, saying: 'Avoid what Allah has prohibited and you will be the most worshipful of people. Be content with what Allah has allotted you and you will be the richest of people. Be good to your neighbor and you will be a believer. Love for people what you love for yourself and you will be a Muslim. And do not laugh excessively, for excessive laughter kills the heart.'
