حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ مَرَّ بِقَوْمٍ يَتَوَضّ

َئُونَ مِنْ مَطْهَرَةٍ فَقَالَ أَحْسِنُوا الْوُضُوءَ يَرْحَمْكُمْ اللَّهُ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعُوا مَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنْ النَّارِ

English Translation

It was narrated from Muhammad ibn Ziyad — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar — who said: "I saw Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) pass by some people performing wudu from a basin. He said: 'Perform your wudu well, may Allah have mercy on you. Did you not hear what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said? Woe to the heels from the Fire!'"
