English Translation
Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave me a bag of dates to keep. I went to it later and found it was gone. I mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ and he said: This is a jinn. When he comes to you, say: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commands you to recite Ayat al-Kursi. He came to me again and I said it to him, and he told me: You will not need anything after this if you recite it — meaning Ayat al-Kursi.'
