حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَ
رِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا مَنْ لَا يَرْجُو أَنْ يَلْبَسَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ فَمَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ يَبْلُغُهُمْ هَذَا عَنْ نَبِيِّهِمْ فَيَجْعَلُونَ حَرِيرًا فِي ثِيَابِهِمْ وَفِي بُيُوتِهِمْ

English Translation
Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: 'Indeed the first person to be judged on the Day of Resurrection is a man who was martyred. He will be brought and reminded of the blessings he received, and he will acknowledge them. Allah will say: What did you do with them? He will say: I fought in Your cause until I was killed. Allah will say: You lied. You fought so that people would say he is brave. And it was said. Then he will be dragged on his face and thrown into the Fire.'
