English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Sufyan ibn 'Uyayna, from Suhayl, from Abu Salih — that a man removed a thorny branch from the path of the Muslims, and he was forgiven. 'Abd Allah said: This hadith is marfu' (attributed to the Prophet ﷺ), but Sufyan fell short in attributing it.
