حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَ
لَّمَ لَا يَصْبِرُ أَحَدٌ عَلَى لَأْوَاءِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَجَهْدِهَا إِلَّا كُنْتُ لَهُ شَفِيعًا وَشَهِيدًا أَوْ شَهِيدًا وَشَفِيعًا قَالَ أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ شَكَّ فِيهِ شَهِيدًا أَوْ شَفِيعًا

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Muhammad ibn Bishr, from Hisham ibn 'Urwa, from Salih ibn Abi Salih al-Samman — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "No one endures the hardship and difficulty of Madina except that I will be an intercessor and witness for him" — or "a witness and intercessor."
