English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Ishaq ibn Sulayman, from Hanzala ibn Abi Sufyan, from Salim ibn 'Abd Allah — who said: "I do not know how many times I saw Abu Hurayra standing in the marketplace saying: 'Knowledge will be taken away, tribulations will appear, and killing (al-harj) will increase.' It was asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is al-harj?' He gestured with his hand like this" — and he turned it (indicating killing).
