English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Every joint of a person must perform a charity every day the sun rises. Judging justly between two people is a charity. Helping a man with his mount by lifting him onto it or loading his belongings onto it is a charity. A good word is a charity. Every step taken toward the prayer is a charity. And removing harm from the road is a charity.'
