Hadith #195

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْ
مُقْرِئُ حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْأَسْوَدِ يَقُولُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مَوْلَى شَدَّادٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَنْشُدُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ضَالَّةً فَلْيَقُلْ لَهُ لَا أَدَّاهَا اللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ فَإِنَّ الْمَسَاجِدَ لَمْ تُبْنَ لِهَذَا

English Translation
Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Muqri' narrated to us, Haywah narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu al-Aswad saying, Abu 'Abdullah, the freed slave of Shaddad, informed me that he entered upon 'A'ishah (رضي الله عنها) and she said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to fast until we said he would not break his fast, and he would break his fast until we said he would not fast. She said: And I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ complete the fast of a whole month except Ramadan.
