English Translation

Hasan and Yahya ibn Ishaq narrated to us, they said: Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu Yunus narrated to us, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When any of you prays and does not know whether he prayed three or four rak'ahs, let him pray one more rak'ah, then prostrate two prostrations while sitting before the salam. If it turns out he prayed five, these two prostrations will make his prayer even. And if he completed four, they will be a humiliation for Shaytan.'
