حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الْخَفَّافُ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ جَاءَتْ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ تَطْلُبُ مِيرَاثَهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَا لَهَا سَمِعْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنِّي لَا أُوَرَّثُ
English Translation
'Abd al-Wahhab al-Khaffaf narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Amr narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that Fatimah (رضي الله عنها) came to Abu Bakr and 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) asking for her share of the inheritance of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. They said: We heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'I do not leave inheritance. What I leave behind is charity.'
