English Translation

Hasan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Ishaq ibn 'Abdullah ibn Abi Talhah, from Sa'id ibn Yasar, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'No man gives charity from lawful earnings — and Allah does not accept except what is lawful — except that the Most Merciful takes it in His Right Hand, even if it is a single date. It grows in the Hand of the Most Merciful until it becomes greater than a mountain, just as one of you nurtures his foal or his young camel.'
