English Translation

Yahya ibn Ishaq narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Abu al-Aswad, from Abu al-Halbas, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: 'If one of you leads people in prayer, let him shorten it, for among them are the sick, the weak, and the elderly. And when one of you prays alone, let him make it as long as he wishes.'
