حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ وَسُرَيْجٌ قَالَا ثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِ
ي عَمْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ إِلَّا وَأَنَا أَوْلَى بِهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ اقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ { النَّبِيُّ أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ } فَأَيُّمَا مُؤْمِنٍ هَلَكَ وَتَرَكَ مَالًا فَلْيَرِثْهُ عَصَبَتُهُ مَنْ كَانُوا وَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا فَلْيَأْتِنِي فَإِنِّي مَوْلَاهُ

English Translation
Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه reported from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: 'A man sinned and said: O my Lord, I have sinned, so forgive me. His Lord said: My servant knows that he has a Lord Who forgives sins and holds accountable for them? I have forgiven My servant. Then he sinned again and said: O my Lord, I have sinned, so forgive me. His Lord said: My servant knows that he has a Lord Who forgives sins and holds accountable for them? I have forgiven My servant. Then he sinned again and said: O my Lord, I have sinned, so forgive me. His Lord said: My servant knows that he has a Lord Who forgives sins and holds accountable for them? I have forgiven My servant — let him do what he wishes.'
