Chain of Narration (Isnad)

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْعَلَاءُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة

َ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ وَقَرَأَ عَلَيْهِ أُبَيٌّ أُمَّ الْقُرْآنِ فَقَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ مَا أُنْزِلَ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَلَا فِي الْإِنْجِيلِ وَلَا فِي الزَّبُورِ وَلَا فِي الْفُرْقَانِ مِثْلُهَا إِنَّهَا السَّبْعُ الْمَثَانِي وَالْقُرْآنُ الْعَظِيمُ الَّذِي أُعْطِيتُ

English Translation

Sulayman ibn Dawud narrated to us, Isma'il, meaning Ibn Ja'far, narrated to us, he said: al-'Ala' informed me, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Part of the perfection of a person's Islam is leaving that which does not concern him.'
