حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي س

َلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا تَمَنَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَنْظُرْ مَا يَتَمَنَّى فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي مَا يُكْتَبُ لَهُ مِنْ أُمْنِيَّتِهِ

English Translation

Ishaq narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to me, from 'Umar ibn Abi Salamah, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When one of you fights, let him avoid striking the face.'
