English Translation
Abu Salamah al-Khuza'i narrated to us, he said: Malik informed us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Travel is a portion of punishment. It deprives one of you of his food, drink, and sleep. When one of you has accomplished the purpose of his journey, let him hasten to return to his family.'
