حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَ
بِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ حَدٌّ يُقَامُ فِي الْأَرْضِ خَيْرٌ لِلنَّاسِ مِنْ أَنْ يُمْطَرُوا ثَلَاثِينَ أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا

English Translation
Zakariyya ibn 'Adi narrated to us, Ibn Mubarak informed us, from 'Isa ibn Yazid, from Jarir ibn Yazid, from Abu Zur'ah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Leave me with what I have left you, for those who came before you were destroyed because of their excessive questioning and their disagreement with their prophets. When I prohibit you from something, avoid it. And when I command you with something, do of it what you are able.'
