حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ خَالِدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ

أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ كَرَمُ الرَّجُلِ دِينُهُ وَمُرُوءَتُهُ عَقْلُهُ وَحَسَبُهُ خُلُقُهُ

English Translation
Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Muslim, meaning Ibn Khalid, narrated to us, from al-'Ala' ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Islam began as something strange and will return to being strange as it began. So glad tidings to the strangers.'
