حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَرَّمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ كُلَّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنْ السِّبَاعِ وَالْمُجَثَّمَةَ وَالْحِمَارَ الْإِنْسِيَّ
English Translation
Mu'awiyah narrated to us who (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that za'idah narrated to us who said: Muhammad ibn 'Amr narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Were it not that I would impose hardship on my Ummah, I would have commanded them to use the siwak (tooth-stick) with every prayer.'
