حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ
الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْلَا مَا فِي الْبُيُوتِ مِنْ النِّسَاءِ وَالذُّرِّيَّةِ لَأَقَمْتُ الصَّلَاةَ صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ وَأَمَرْتُ فِتْيَانِي يُحْرِقُونَ مَا فِي الْبُيُوتِ بِالنَّارِ

English Translation
Khalaf narrated to us who (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that abu Ma'shar narrated to us, from Sa'id al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Do not initiate the greeting of salam to the Jews and Christians. And if you meet one of them on a road, force them to the narrowest part of it.'
