حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَأْخُذَ
أُمَّتِي بِمَأْخَذِ الْأُمَمِ وَالْقُرُونِ قَبْلَهَا شِبْرًا بِشِبْرٍ وَذِرَاعًا بِذِرَاعٍ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَمَا فَعَلَتْ فَارِسُ وَالرُّومُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهَلْ النَّاسُ إِلَّا أُولَئِكَ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ يَعْنِي مِثْلَهُ

English Translation
Surayj narrated to us who (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that 'Abdullah ibn Nafi' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, from Sa'id al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'the Prophet ﷺs are brothers from different mothers; their mothers are different but their religion is one. I am the closest of people to 'Isa ibn Maryam (عليه السلام), because there was no Prophet between him and me.'
