حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَن

Body (Matn)

ْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُنِي عَلَى قَلِيبٍ أَنْزِعُ بِدَلْوٍ ثُمَّ أَخَذَهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَنَزَعَ بِهَا ذَنُوبًا أَوْ ذَنُوبَيْنِ فِيهِمَا ضَعْفٌ وَاللَّهُ يَرْحَمُهُ ثُمَّ أَخَذَهَا عُمَرُ فَإِنْ بَرِحَ يَنْزِعُ حَتَّى اسْتَحَالَتْ غَرْبًا ثُمَّ ضَرَبَتْ بِعَطَنٍ فَمَا رَأَيْتُ مِنْ نَزْعِ عَبْقَرِيٍّ أَحْسَنَ مِنْ نَزْعِ عُمَرَ

English Translation

Mu'awiyah ibn 'Amr narrated to us who (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that za'idah narrated to us, from 'Asim, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'When Ramadan comes, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of the Hellfire are closed, and the devils are chained.'
