حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَهُوَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْحَفَرِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أُتِيَ النَّبِي
ُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِطَعَامٍ بِمَرِّ الظَّهْرَانِ فَقَالَ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ادْنُوَا فَكُلَا قَالَا إِنَّا صَائِمَانِ قَالَ ارْحَلُوا لِصَاحِبَيْكُمْ اعْمَلُوا لِصَاحِبَيْكُمْ

English Translation
Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When one of you wakes up from his sleep, let him not dip his hand in the vessel until he washes it three times, for he does not know where his hand spent the night.'
