حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ النَّخَعِي
ِّ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ بَدَا جَفَا وَمَنْ اتَّبَعَ الصَّيْدَ غَفَلَ وَمَنْ أَتَى أَبْوَابَ السُّلْطَانِ افْتُتِنَ وَمَا ازْدَادَ عَبْدٌ مِنْ السُّلْطَانِ قُرْبًا إِلَّا ازْدَادَ مِنْ اللَّهِ بُعْدًا

English Translation
Muhammad narrated to us who (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that isma'il ibn Zakariyya narrated to us, from al-Hasan ibn al-Hakam al-Nakha'i, from 'Adi ibn Thabit, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The nearest a servant is to his Lord is when he is prostrating. So make abundant supplication in it.'
