حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي عَمْرٍو

عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رُبَّ صَائِمٍ حَظُّهُ مِنْ صِيَامِهِ الْجُوعُ وَالْعَطَشُ وَرُبَّ قَائِمٍ حَظُّهُ مِنْ قِيَامِهِ السَّهَرُ

English Translation

Sulayman narrated to us, Isma'il narrated to us, 'Amr, meaning Ibn Abi 'Amr, informed me, from Abu Sa'id al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The worst food is the food of a wedding feast to which the rich are invited and the poor are excluded. Whoever does not accept the invitation has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger.'
