Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَسْعَدُ النَّاسِ بِشَفَاعَتِكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَقَدْ
ظَنَنْتُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَلَّا يَسْأَلَنِي عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَحَدٌ أَوَّلَ مِنْكَ لِمَا رَأَيْتُ مِنْ حِرْصِكَ عَلَى الْحَدِيثِ أَسْعَدُ النَّاسِ بِشَفَاعَتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ خَالِصَةً مِنْ قِبَلِ نَفْسِهِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Sulayman narrated to us, Isma'il informed us, 'Amr informed me, from Sa'id, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: I said to the Prophet ﷺ: 'O Messenger of Allah, who is the most fortunate of people to receive your intercession on the Day of Resurrection?' the Prophet ﷺ said: 'I had thought, O Abu Hurayrah, that no one would ask me about this hadith before you, seeing how eager you are for hadith. The most fortunate of people to receive my intercession on the Day of Resurrection is the one who says La ilaha illa Allah sincerely from his heart.'
