حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَج

ِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ النَّذْرَ لَا يُقَرِّبُ مِنْ ابْنِ آدَمَ شَيْئًا لَمْ يَكُنْ اللَّهُ قَدَّرَهُ لَهُ وَلَكِنَّ النَّذْرَ مُوَافِقٌ الْقَدَرَ فَيُخْرَجُ بِذَلِكَ مِنْ الْبَخِيلِ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ الْبَخِيلُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُخْرِجَ

English Translation

Sulayman narrated to us, Isma'il informed us, 'Amr informed me, from 'Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Do not call grapes al-karm. Al-karm is the Muslim man.' — or he said — 'the heart of the Muslim.'
