English Translation
Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, 'Ubaydullah narrated to us, from Khubayb, meaning Ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yasaf, from Hafs ibn 'Asim, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There are seven whom Allah will shade on a Day when there is no shade except His shade: a just ruler, a youth who grew up in the worship of Allah, a man whose heart is attached to the mosques, two men who love each other for the sake of Allah — they come together and part upon that, a man who is called by a woman of beauty and position and says: I fear Allah, a man who gives charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives, and a man who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes overflow with tears.'
