حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ يَتَقَاضَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعِيرًا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْتَمِسُ
وا لَهُ مِثْلَ سِنِّ بَعِيرِهِ قَالَ فَالْتَمَسُوا لَهُ فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا إِلَّا فَوْقَ سِنِّ بَعِيرِهِ قَالَ فَأَعْطُوهُ فَوْقَ بَعِيرِهِ فَقَالَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ أَوْفَيْتَنِي أَوْفَاكَ اللَّهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ خَيْرَكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ قَضَاءً

English Translation
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us who said: Sufyan informed us, from Salamah ibn Kuhayl, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: A Bedouin came demanding repayment of a debt from the Prophet ﷺ and was harsh. The Companions wanted to deal with him roughly. the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Leave him, for the one to whom a right is owed has the right to speak.' Then he said: 'Look for a camel of the same age as his.' They said: 'We only find one older and better.' He said: 'Give it to him, for the best among you is the one who is best in repaying.'
