English Translation
Aswad ibn 'Amir narrated to us who (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that abu Bakr informed us, from 'Asim, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out, and the people were praying in a corner of the mosque but not raising their voices with the recitation. the Prophet ﷺ said: 'The one who prays is conversing privately with his Lord. So let him consider what he converses with, and do not raise your voices over one another with the Quran.'
