English Translation
My father said, and with this chain of narration: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stopped by some people sitting and said: 'Shall I not inform you of the best among you from the worst among you?' They remained silent. He said it three times. A man said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah, inform us.' He said: 'The best of you is the one from whom good is hoped and from whom evil is safe. The worst of you is the one from whom good is not hoped and from whom evil is not safe.'
