English Translation
Qutaybah narrated to us, 'Abd al-'Aziz narrated to us, from Suhayl, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Do not envy one another, do not artificially inflate prices against one another, do not hate one another, do not turn your backs on one another, do not undercut one another's sales. Be servants of Allah, brothers. The Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. He does not wrong him, let him down, or despise him. Taqwa (piety) is here' — and he pointed to his chest three times. 'It is enough evil for a person to despise his Muslim brother. Every Muslim's blood, wealth, and honor are inviolable to another Muslim.'
