Hadith #538
Arabic Text
وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ
قَالَ عَلَى كُلِّ نَفْسٍ مِنْ بَنِي آدَمَ كُتِبَ حَظُّهُ مِنْ الزِّنَا أَدْرَكَ ذَلِكَ لَا مَحَالَةَ فَالْعَيْنُ زِنَاهَا النَّظَرُ وَالْآذَانُ زِنَاهَا الِاسْتِمَاعُ وَالْيَدُ زِنَاهَا الْبَطْشُ وَالرِّجْلُ زِنَاهَا الْمَشْيُ وَاللِّسَانُ زِنَاهُ الْكَلَامُ وَالْقَلْبُ يَهْوَى وَيَتَمَنَّى وَيُصَدِّقُ ذَلِكَ وَيُكَذِّبُهُ الْفَرْجُ
Isnad Chain
وبهذا الإسناد
رسول الله
English Translation
And with this chain of narration, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, that he said: 'Every son of Adam has been decreed his share of zina (fornication), and he will inevitably attain it. The eyes commit zina, and their zina is looking. The ears commit zina, and their zina is listening. The tongue commits zina, and its zina is speaking. The hand commits zina, and its zina is striking. The foot commits zina, and its zina is walking. The heart desires and wishes, and the private parts confirm or deny all of that.'
