مَيْرٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ قَالَ حُدِّثْتُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ وَلَا أُرَانِي إِلَّا قَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ اللَّهُمَّ أَرْشِدْ الْأَئِمَّةَ وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ

English Translation

'Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, from al-A'mash who said: I was told from Abu Salih — and I think I also heard it directly — from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Allah does not look at your appearances and wealth, but He looks at your hearts and your deeds.'
