Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه reported: the Prophet ﷺ was brought a man who had drunk wine. He said: 'Beat him.' Abu Hurayrah said: Some of us beat him with their hands, some with their sandals, and some with their garments. When he turned away, some people said: 'May Allah disgrace you.' the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Do not say that. Do not help Shaytan against him.'
