حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ عَنْ لَيْثٍ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ عَنْ أَخِيهِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْأَرْبَعِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ وَمِنْ دُعَاءٍ لَا يُسْمَعُ
English Translation
Yunus narrated to us, from Layth, Sa'id narrated to me, from his brother 'Abbad ibn Abi Sa'id, that he heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) saying: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the four: from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that is not humbled, from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered.'
