Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو وَمَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَوْسِ بْنِ الْحَدَثَانِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كَانَتْ أَمْوَالُ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ مِمَّا أَفَاءَ اللَّهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِمَّا
لَمْ يُوجِفْ الْمُسْلِمُونَ عَلَيْهِ بِخَيْلٍ وَلَا رِكَابٍ فَكَانَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَالِصَةً وَكَانَ يُنْفِقُ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ مِنْهَا نَفَقَةَ سَنَةٍ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً قُوتَ سَنَةٍ وَمَا بَقِيَ جَعَلَهُ فِي الْكُرَاعِ وَالسِّلَاحِ عُدَّةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

English Translation
Malik bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that I heard 'Umar say to ‘Abdur-Rahman bin ‘Awf, Talhah, az-Zubair and Sa'd: We adjure you by Allah, by whom heaven and earth are sustained, did you know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Our (Prophets’) property is not to be inherited and whatever we leave behind is charity.` They said: By Allah, yes,
