English Translation
Hawdhah narrated to us, he said Awf narrated to us, from Khilas, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'By Allah, it is better for one of you to take a rope and gather firewood on his back than to come to a man whom Allah has given of His bounty and ask him, whether he gives or refuses.'
