English Translation
Ibrahim ibn Abi al-Abbas narrated to us, he said Abu Uways narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, that he heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) saying: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'While I was sleeping, I saw myself at a well. I drew from it as much as Allah willed me to draw. Then Abu Bakr took the bucket and drew one or two buckets, and there was some weakness in his drawing — may Allah forgive him. Then Umar ibn al-Khattab took it, and it became a large bucket in his hand. I have never seen a leader among the people work so well until the people watered their camels at their resting place.'
