English Translation

Sulayman ibn Dawud narrated to us, he said Isma'il informed us, he said al-Ala' informed me, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Shall I not tell you something by which Allah wipes away sins and raises ranks?' They said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Performing wudu thoroughly despite difficulties, taking many steps to the mosques, and waiting for the next prayer after the prayer. That is the ribat (guarding the frontiers). That is the ribat. That is the ribat.'
